FIRE PIT

Fire is a mesmerizing element. I have done many variations of fire pits, but few compare to the limestone fire pit below. We carved a section out of a hill to fit in the foundation and deck. This fire pit overlooks a lake that reflects the trees around the banks and beams the sunset over the water. All of the rocks used were hand picked and collected on the property.

Some of  the other pictures include BBQ’s and a fireplace at a ranch house I renovated. We collected rocks from a nearby river, acid washed them so it would bring out the colors of the stone.  We also used a natural milled piece of Mesquite wood as the mantel.
